FaithHealth at Advocate Health is broad, multi-faceted, and diverse in both the communities that are served and the locations from which this work emanates. The work of FaithHealth is tethered to Divisions, Departments, and Teams located in the North Carolina and Georgia Division, Illinois Division, and Wisconsin Division of Advocate Health. Our work is anchored in shared mission, values, and philosophy that results in rich collaborative relationships with faith communities that address social drivers of health and fulfill the clinical and social priorities of The Advocate National Center for Clinical and Community Impact.

North Carolina & Georgia Division FaithHealth Leaders

Jeremy Moseley is the Area Vice-President of Community and FaithHealth for the North Carolina and Georgia Division of Advocate Health. Jeremy’s role is strategic in nature for the Advocate National Center for Clinical and Community Impact and operational through the Advocate Health Community Health Department. Jeremy’s team gives specific leadership to Faith Partnerships & Programs, Faith Community Nursing, Community Health Needs Assessment, Mobile Primary Care, and Community Health Prevention and Promotion. Jeremy was born in Kinston, NC, and is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill and East Carolina University, with foci in public health, policy, analysis, and management. He worked for the NC Division of Public Health for 4 years, Duke University, and other health care organizations before coming to WFBMC in 2011.

Pam Hurley is the Director of Faith Community Health Ministry and is assigned to the Community and Faith Health Team for the North Carolina and Georgia Division of Advocate Health. Pam is a Registered Nurse and gives leadership to a large team of Faith Community Nurses and Faith Community Health Promoters across North Carolina. She is a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University (MOL) and Western Carolina University (BSN).

Brian K. Davis is the Director of Faith Partnerships and Programs and assigned to the Community and FaithHealth Team for the North Carolina and Georgia Division of Advocate Health. Brian is an ordained Baptist minister and prior to joining the FaithHealth staff, he served Baptist churches in North Carolina as a staff minister and a pastor for thirteen years and as the Associate Executive-Director Treasurer for the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina for nearly fourteen years. Brian is a graduate of NC State University (BS), New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv) and Erskine Theological Seminary (DMin) and Eastern Washington University (CPH).

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist FaithHealth Leaders

Chris Gambill, Associate Vice-President for FaithHealth Operations for Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist.Chris provides operational and strategic leadership for FaithHealth across the Winston-Salem Area. FaithHealth across the Winston-Salem Areal includes FaithHealth Education and Chaplaincy & Clinical Ministries, The Center for Congregational Health and CareNet Counseling. Chris has an undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University, an MDiv from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a PhD in Industrial- Organizational Psychology from Capella University. He has previously served as the Director of the Center for Congregational Health, a Senior Consultant at the Center and is a Board-Certified Coach. An ordained Baptist minister, Chris has served previously as a pastor, interim pastor and as a campus minister at UNC-Charlotte, NC State University. He and his wife Joy also served as student workers in Taiwan, Republic of China.

Emily Viverette, Director FaithHealth Education and Chaplaincy & Clinical Ministries. Emily provides leadership for chaplaincy services across Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. In her work, she is passionate about the ways in which faith communities, faith-based agencies, chaplains and clergy can collaborate to improve health in their communities, particularly in rural settings. As a Certified Educator credentialed through ACPE, Inc., she also provides direct supervision of chaplain interns and residents. Emily is an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). She holds a B.S. from Elon University, MDiv from Vanderbilt University, and DMin from Hood Theological Seminary. Emily taught high school math prior to graduate school and joined AHWFB in 2009 after serving as a Certified Educator at another medical center.

Robert Willis, Director of CareNet Counseling. CareNet counseling is the spiritually integrated, community based, outpatient, behavioral health service line of Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and includes regional offices across North Carolina far beyond the AHWFB service area. Prior to becoming Director, Robert was the Regional Manager of the CareNet offices in Wilkes County, NC. Robert is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, clinical fellow in the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.
