Supervisory Faculty
Rosalind Bradley is a Baptist minister affiliated with the Alliance of Baptists. Rosalind is a graduate of Randolph-Macon Woman’s College (now Randolph College, B.A.), Virginia Commonwealth University (M.F.A. and M.S.), and Virginia Union University School of Theology (M.Div. and D.Min.). Rosalind served as an Assistant Professor and Clinical Pastoral Education Supervisor at Virginia Commonwealth University in the Department of Patient Counseling for five years, after more than 20 years as a research assistant in various laboratories in the School of Basic Health Sciences. Rosalind also served as Pastor of Faith, Hope and Love Ministries and as an Associate Minister at three Baptist churches.
Mark Jensen is a minister affiliated with the Alliance of Baptists. He earned the B.A. from Houston Baptist University and the M.Div. and the Ph.D. from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Mark is Associate Professor of Pastoral Care at Wake Forest University School of Divinity. He leads a Certificate Program in Spirituality and Health offered jointly by the Divinity School and the Wake Forest School of Medicine, and coordinates a dual degree program in Divinity and Counseling.
Francis Rivers Meza is a Presbyterian minister (PCUSA) and graduate of Duke University (B.S.) and McCormick Theological Seminary (M.Div.). Francis served for several years as a colleague in ministry with the Waldensian Church in Italy, Argentina, and Uruguay. Prior to joining the faculty in 2002, Francis was the Coordinator of the CPE Program at Parkland Health & Hospital System in Dallas, TX.
Emily Viverette is a minister affiliated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Emily is a graduate of Elon University (B.S.) and Vanderbilt Divinity School (M.Div.). Prior to seminary, Emily taught high school math. Emily served as the Director of CPE at Alamance Regional Medical Center before joining the faculty in 2009. Emily is Director of the FaithHealth Chaplaincy and Education.
Clinical Staff
Angela P Beard, ordained and licensed Baptist minister, affiliated with Rowan Baptist Association. Angela is a graduate of Apex School of Theology in Durham NC (B.Th. and M.Div.). Angela comes with over twenty years of clinical background, as well as behavioral health, and community outreach experience. Angela completed a Level I unit of CPE in the congregation-based program, 1 year residency, and 1 year Chaplain Fellowship at Wake Forest Baptist Health. She now serves as Staff Chaplain for Transitional Care, partnering with FaithHealth, as well as other community resource organizations. Angela provides spiritual care to staff, patients and families, as well as community members facing housing crisis, and psychosocial needs.
Graylin Carlton serves as the Wake Forest Baptist Chaplain Manager of Wilkes County (Chaplaincy and Clinical Ministries of Transitional Care of FaithHealth). Graylin is an ordained Baptist Minister and senior pastor of Oakgrove Missionary Baptist Church of Walkertown NC, affiliate of the General Baptist State Convention. Graylin earned a Masters in Christian Ministry from Piedmont International and a Bachelors in Christian Ministry from Foothills Christian College. He has served as Evening Chaplain Supervisor at the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission and is well-versed with skills developed under the health initiative to work closely with medical staff, volunteers, families, and community affiliates. Graylin with Supporters of FaithHealth, supports patients spiritually by offering ministries for growth, hope, and healing as the catalyst to improve healthiness in the Wilkes County Communities.
Glenn Davis is an ordained Baptist minister and a graduate of College of Charleston (BS) and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.). Glenn is the Manager of the First Responder Chaplaincy Program, a hospital-based, community-focused model of chaplaincy. Prior to joining FaithHealth, he served 27 years as the full-time Chaplain for the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office providing on-call staff support and crisis intervention for law enforcement and other first responders as well as survivor-victims of crime and other trauma. Glenn and the first responder chaplain team routinely deploy to assist law enforcement, fire and EMS and other organizations in the aftermath of critical incidents. The team’s embedded relationships with first responders offer many opportunities to teach and care for them and their families. Collaborations with faith communities and other organizations also allow the first responder chaplains to enhance the crisis skills of clergy and other caregivers who seek to better understand and care for our public servants and all others whose lives are impacted by traumatic events.
Aaron Eaton is an ordained Baptist minister. He is a graduate of Piedmont International University (B.A.) and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.). Aaron has served various churches in pastoral positions working with youth and young adults. Chaplaincy has enabled him to expand his ministry opportunities in working with a broader community. Upon completion of his 2nd year chaplaincy residency at Wake Forest Baptist Health, Aaron became the second Staff Chaplain to join the First Responder Chaplaincy Program which provides crisis intervention services and education to the Forsyth County’s First Responders and their extended families as well as on scene support for many survivor-victims of traumatic events. He desires to build community resilience through crisis response skills, training, and chaplaincy service.
Dianne Horton is Manager of Chaplaincy and Clinical Ministries at Lexington Medical Center of Wake Forest Baptist Health. She is an ordained and endorsed minister affiliated with the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. Dianne is a graduate of Salem College (B.A.) and Wake Forest University School of Divinity (M.Div.). Dianne is a Board Certified Chaplain by the Association of Professional Chaplains. In addition to her chaplaincy work, Dianne also works closely with the community engagement efforts of FaithHealth in Forsyth and Davidson Counties.
Maria Teresa Jones, is the Chaplaincy Program Manager for Staff Support of the Winston Salem Campus. She provides support and education to medical staff on issues related to moral distress, compassion fatigue, grief, and resilience. Jones also provides counseling to employees that apply for assistance through the Employee Emergency Fund — responds to patient care units, and to medical center departments who are facing critical challenges related to employee loss or demanding work stressors. Jones holds ordained and endorsed ministerial standing with the United Church of Christ and is a board certified chaplain through the Association of Professional Chaplains.
Adam Ridenhour is the Manager of Chaplaincy and Clinical Ministries at Wake Forest Baptist Health – Davie Medical Center. He is a minister affiliated with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. Adam is a graduate of Catawba College (B.A.), Wake Forest University School of Divinity (M.Div.), and Wake Forest University Graduate School (M.A., Counseling). Adam is a Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) by the Association of Professional Chaplains, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) and National Certified Counselor (NCC).
Erin Lysse is an ACPE Associate Certified Educator. She is an ordained Baptist minister, and is endorsed by the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. Erin completed a CPE internship and two residency years at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. She also completed her Certified Educator training at the Center. Erin earned a Bachelor’s degree at Valdosta State University (GA), and an M.Div. at McAfee School of Theology at Mercer University (GA).
Michelle Nicolle, PhD, completed a CPE residency at Wake Forest Medical Center in 2016. Prior to this, she was engaged in neuroscience research as an Associate Professor at Wake Forest School of Medicine with appointments in Internal Medicine, Section of Geriatrics and the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology with a focus on memory decline in normal aging and Alzheimer’s disease. Her love of the elderly transitioned from the lab bench to the bedside in a career change from academics to chaplaincy. With religious training at the Upaya Zen Center in Santa Fe, NM, Michelle is an ordained Buddhist Chaplain. Michelle provides spiritual care and support for students and faculty at Wake Forest School of Medicine as well as the businesses and scientists associated with the Wake Forest Innovation Quarter in Winston-Salem.
Keith Stirewalt serves as the Program Director – FaithHealth Clinical Medicine and as a Physician Assistant – Palliative Care for WFBH. He is a Baptist minister and chaplain. He earned his B.A. in Chemistry from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, his P.A. from the Bowman Gray School of Medicine-Wake Forest University, his M.B.A. at the Bryan School of Business at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro, and his M.Div. at the Wake Forest University School of Divinity. Keith completed his chaplain internship and two years of chaplain residency at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Keith’s work focuses on the narrative interaction of clinical medicine, theology, end-of-life, serious illness, advance care planning, and bioethics.
