More Supporters of Health are on the way!

The Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center’s Division of FaithHealth Ministries has partnered with NW AHEC (Area Health Education Centers) to develop and offer training for more Supporters of Health. The success of the current Supporters has created interest in developing more formalized training for others who seek to care for vulnerable populations.

As a result, FaithHealth Ministries received a grant of $88,000 from NW AHEC to train 30 more supporters in five counties: Forsyth, Davidson, Wilkes, Randolph and Surry. The launch date for the first module is Friday, October 2, 2015 and the training will continue through the spring of 2016.\
