CareNet Counseling reached a significant organizational milestone in 2022, recording a record 50,615 hours of service across its seven regional offices in North Carolina.
CareNet President Bryan Hatcher notes the record number of service hours reflects, to some degree, one aspect of the COVID-19 pandemic—that it has helped to destigmatize the importance of seeking behavioral health care.
In addition, Hatcher says, CareNet continues to expand into newer types of behavioral health lines. For example, besides traditional care in its regional offices, CareNet now offers services in outpatient clinics and works with employers as a result of its partnership with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist’s BestHealth for Business department.
CareNet is a compassionate, professional, statewide, community-based counseling organization affiliated with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. The team offers services at more than 30 centers across North Carolina.
