Congratulations to Camila Pulgar, CareNet resident and clinical researcher in Public Health. At the recent North Carolina Counselor’s Association state meeting, Camila was honored with two awards: The Beginning Counselor Award from North Carolina Counseling Association and The Beginning Child and Adolescent Counselor Award from Association of Child and Adolescent Counseling in NC.

These are high honors that come from nominations from peers, supervisors and academics. Camila also provides leadership in CareNet’s developing research program and an initiative to grow bilingual therapists in Forsyth County and across the state.
