A Shared Mission of Healing

Volunteers Needed for Free Pharmacy Day

Feb 7, 2018 | FaithHealth Community, FaithHealth Events, population health north carolina

MedAssist Mobile Free Pharmacy

March 15 & 16

First United Methodist Church, North Wilkesboro

The Health Foundation is working with NC MedAssist to bring over $100,000 worth of over-the-counter medication and other health supplies to folks in need in Wilkes County. To pull this off, they are going to need a lot of help — which is where you come in!

The group is looking for volunteers to help with setting up the space on March 15, client sign-up, client shopping, and cleaning on March 16 for the free pharmacy.

There’s a need for people with and without medical knowledge to work in a fast-paced environment for a three-hour shift. Volunteers for set-up and clean-up shifts must be able to lift 20+ pounds! If you’re interested, sign up for a shift here — and feel free to forward this email to anyone who can help!

The MedAssist Mobile Free Pharmacy will be at the First United Methodist Church in North Wilkesboro, and hopefully you will join in!
