Stakeholder Health’s latest online magazine is now available. Hospitals & Housing First explores the history of the housing first movement across the United States, including in Charlotte, North Carolina. It looks at where health systems have partnered with community organizations to develop housing first solutions to chronic homelessness. By getting the chronically homeless people into permanent housing first and providing them with basic services, their health outcomes are dramatically improved and the model saves the community funds.
